SEPTEMBER:

Mark your calendars for the 3rd Annual Art Walk on September 27- a vibrant celebration of local art, music, and delicious pizza!

OCTOBER:

First Fridays are a Smithville tradition. On October 4, explore the streets of downtown to see the storefront scarecrows, meet local makers, and enjoy other family-friendly activities. On October 12, visit the annual pumpkin fest. October 25-27, you can take the “Off the Beaten Path Studio Tour” where artists in beautiful DeKalb and Cannon Counties of Middle Tennessee open their studios for a free three-day open studio event. Wrap up October with the Halloween Boo Bash on October 31.

NOVEMBER:

Head to Smithville Square on November 1 for First Friday fun! There will be arts and crafts, local artists, food, music, and more. On November 2, visit the Christmas Handmade Market. On November 8 and 9, the Square is hosting a downtown Christmas open house. Participating shops will offer the chance to shop early for one-of-a-kind holiday gifts.

DECEMBER:

There's nothing more magical than kicking off the holiday season on December 7 with Christmas on the Square. It starts with the Christmas parade and a window-decorating contest for the shops. In the evening, W Walnut Street is lit up with fire pits for free s'more making and relaxing.
