Q: What are your favorite aspects of your role as a Vacation Homes Manager for Escape to Center Hill?

A: My favorite is working directly with homeowners- making sure homeowners are comfortable and know they are in good hands. Making sure they know that they can trust me. There is no hidden agenda, and they can get the most out of their investment. We are very transparent from the first time we speak with you. We enjoy taking care of homes and keeping them full, and the homeowners enjoy knowing that we are filling homes with families who are making memories and enjoying time together in the homes.

Q: Can you share a specific example of when you went above and beyond to ensure a guest's perfect vacation experience?

A: A guest called at the beginning of the year, and he was setting up an anniversary weekend for his wife. I got in touch with a local chef in town, and they did a 5-course meal for them. I went out to set the home up with flowers, dessert, candles, champagne- the works. We worked on it for most of the year. I just wanted it to be perfect. She was surprised; they were happy, which made me so happy.

Q: What do you enjoy most about helping guests create their ideal vacation experience?

A: I really love what I do. What I enjoy most is the satisfaction it brings to the guests. We always make recommendations and referrals for guests, ensuring their experience is the most important thing. Each guest has different expectations, wants, and needs for their perfect vacation. Because we are locally owned and operated, we maintain relationships with businesses all over town to accommodate them. For example, we recommend local kayaks, boat rentals, and local restaurants to ensure they have the best time staying with us. Their joy and satisfaction are what drives me in this role.

Q: What are some of your favorite activities around Center Hill Lake in your free time?

A: In my free time, I love kayaking. It's something I do as often as I can, especially destination kayaking to the local waterfalls. I also enjoy listening to live music at Twisted Oaks and the Harvester. And, of course, we have a lot of great local restaurants that I love to frequent. I love to eat, and there is a ton of great food nearby! Sharing my local knowledge with our guests is a lot of fun.
